Round grain rice
Short grain rice or porridge rice grows in Italy, Egypt and China. This type of rice consists of a lot of starch. When boiling, short grain rice absorbs a lot of water so it turns soft and sticky. It's widely used for making porridges, desserts and also for the popular Japanese dish sushi. For preparing, wash it first and then pour it into salty water. Finally boil it on low heat water for 15-20 minutes.
